So we've been teased (all in good fun, of course) and even been the recipient of the title "cavemen" when we tell friends that we don't have cell phones or TV. It's funny but they are just things we don't really need right now. Ty is always telling me that he actually likes not being available 24-7. Hence the no cell phones. And don't get me wrong - we have a TV - and boy is it a TV - but we don't have cable or anything (we know we'd just end up wasting a lot of time watching it and a lot of what's on there is not what we want our kids watching so we just don't have it - for the time being anyway - Ty's starting to miss his sports).
ANYWAY, you might even add "clueless" to our list of titles when I admit I had never known about or used Picasa! I love it!
Our friends watched the kids a little while ago and snapped these pix for us. So I uploaded them and played around with them on Picasa. Here's what I came up with...

I'm so with you! First...we only have basic tv, which we never really watch, unless it's a cartoon or movie for the kids when they wake up...or the news. Second, we still only have 1 cell phone, which we use as our home phone. And third...what is picasa? This I'll have to check out! How cute are those!
Okay- your other post... I'm amazed that you have books caught up. I was proud that I finally put all of our latest pictures on cd's! Kenzie doesn't even have any pictures developed of her yet. They are all just on cd's! I just keep thinking that we'll be able to afford to do them all later! (I, however, don't scrapbook, so I stick them in a photo album, which is much quicker, but so much less cute!) I'm really impressed though!
Oh...(sorry about the novel)...I loved all the messy pictures. Isn't that really our life? It's never a good sign when kids are quiet for more than a minute! Good for you for laughing though. I'm afraid I would've been too irritated to laugh!
I don't know how you do it without cell phones. good for you! I keep thinking that we need to cut back to one cell or something, but we just can't do it. Your pics are adorable, picasa is good, but I think most of it is just cause your kids are so cute!
Well, things could be worse! Just teasing! TV really isn't that great anyway! We have bunny ears so we get like 5 channels and that's all we need. The kids have 3 PBS channels it's great! Your family is so cute. Hope all is going well.
Well, I don't know about the whole cell phone thing. Mark is often out who knows where working and I like the idea of being able to get a hold of him if I need to. Plus, he always has to be available for work. However I totally agree with the no TV thing. We have never had calble or anything. On time when we lived in pocatello we had channel 6 but that is about it. Oh, and super cute pictures!!!!!
You did wonderful. I haven't tried it either - the picture thing, but I've been wanting to try it, so maybe it will be soon. And I love having a cell phone so much that I forget (sometimes on purpose) to bring it along. You really aren't missing much!
I do agree... Picasa is the best. We found it a couple of years ago and it's all we use. Now on to more random things...
I am glad that you found my blog! I think that I found yours on Cami's or Mary's a while ago, so you are on my sidebar and I have been cyber-stalking you for quite some time. Whoops. Sorry for not commenting. It sounds like y'all are really doing well, though. Good to know. Plus, your kids are adorable!
As far as your questions go:
1. Yes, we are expecting.
2. It is a boy.
3. We have no names.
4. We are 31 weeks (measuring 34 weeks) due May 17th-ish though baby is big (see my blog post: My BFG). We'll see if he gets to come early...
5. Thank you.
6. We love our house! I guess I should be a good little blogger and post pictures of it...
It was good to hear from you. I guess now it's safe for me to start commenting on your blog... watch out.
I hate that people can have contact through cell phones 24-7 too. it's really annoying sometimes. my sister inlaw says a phone is a tool and you get to choose when to use it. i have a hard time not answering it though. we also dont have cable or satellite. I dont think we have since isie was about two months old. tv can be such a waste. except for the office!
we are so excited to have a baby. things are good and we are keeping our fingers crossed.
your pictures are so beautiful, as always! good to hear from you.
I couldn't find the comment thingy on your most recent post with Vanna's piggies! So cute!! You will need to visit some of the hair blogs I frequent from off my blog. And it's official! Cory is in the audiology program an during the summer of 2011 we will be moving to the Boise area!
Your pictures look great. And I do think it has much more to do with the fact that your kids are so cute and easy to photograph. I love Vanna's piggies!! She looks so grown up... Have you finished the salvaged cereal yet??
